Selkirk Walking Tours
Mural and History Tours 2024
Red River North Tourism is pleased to announce that interpreter led walking tours will offered in conjunction with the Selkirk Waterfront Markets(weather dependent)! RRNT interpreters explore various aspects of the history and culture of the community with visitors. Stay tuned for 2024 summer dates.
Tours are free and approximately thirty minutes in duration. Topics include the creation and meaning of many murals dotted throughout Selkirk’s downtown area; the early beginnings of the city; and the growth and development of the community.
Mural Tours
The Mural Walking Tour explores the creation and meaning of many murals dotted throughout Selkirk’s downtown area.
Meet the interpreter on the corner by the Gordon Howard Centre.

These tours will alternate between two themes: Humble Beginnings and Work and Play, Love & War and will inform about the development and growth of the City of Selkirk and the continuing role Red River North played in the growth of the community and of Manitoba as a Province.
