Birds Hill Beach
Birds Hill Beach, located within Birds Hill Provincial Park, just 20 minutes north of Winnipeg. The park’s small, man-made beach is perfect for families with young children, offering safe swimming areas, grassy spaces, and picnic tables nearby. Visitors can enjoy activities like swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, or strolling along the water’s edge.
Beyond the beach, Birds Hill Provincial Park features 30 km of trails for walking, hiking, and cross-country skiing, as well as a 7.2 km paved trail for cycling and rollerblading, there’s something for every outdoor enthusiast.

There is a large parking lot available at Birds Hill Beach, and parking is free. The lot fills up quickly during peak season, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.

Pets are welcome in all Manitoba provincial parks. However, pets and their owners share the park experience with all other visitors and must follow park rules.
