20th Anniversary Dunnottar Station Museum
The Dunnottar Station Museum turns 20, and you're invited to the platform. For two decades, a wooden building roughly the size of a generous garden shed has carried a big piece of Lake Winnipeg history.

Triple S Fair & Rodeo
The Triple S Fair & Rodeo is back in Selkirk on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026. Each day will be filled with fun activities for everyone in the family!
The Saturday will start at 12:00 p.m with all rides open and the Children’s Festival featuring crafts, face painting, and games until 4:00 p.m. Check out the full schedule of events on their website here.

Evening Canoe Excursion
Let Oak Hammock Marsh canoe specialist, Dusty Molinski, guide you through some lesser explored regions of the Marsh on this two hour evening paddle!

Inclusion Golf Tournament
The Inclusion Selkirk Golf Tournament returns for a 6th year on August 20, 2026 at the Selkirk Golf and Country Club.

Wave Artists Studio Tour 2026
The WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour celebrates 25 years of connecting art lovers with art!
Explore 21 studios across Manitoba’s beautiful Interlake region, from St. Andrews to Arborg, plus a new stop on scenic Hecla Island. Meet artists in their creative spaces and discover one-of-a-kind artwork.

Red River Paddle Challenge 2026
This year, Red River Paddle Challenge is celebrating a monumental milestone: the 100-year anniversary of the legendary Les Voyageurs Canoe Race!
In 1926, Winnipeg Canoe Club Commodore Fred G. Thompson started a 100 km canoe challenge from Winnipeg to Lockport via the Winnipeg Canoe Club, in honour of his brother, Lieutenant Edward “Pace” Thompson.
Red River Paddle Challenge is a 44 kilometre (~27 miles) long distance single day paddling race on the Red River beginning in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba.
Les Voyageurs Challenge is a 110 kilometer (~68 miles) ultra distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Ste Agathe, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba. Les Voyageurs is a two-day staged race where participants paddle from Ste Agathe to The Forks Historic Port in Winnipeg on day one and then on day two participants join in with the Red River Paddle Challenge paddlers and paddle to Lockport.

Come on down and celebrate Canada Day with the Grand Marais Community Central at their annual Canada Day Car Show Celebration!
Take a stroll through the rows of stunning classic and vintage cars, snap some photos, and be sure to cast your vote for the “Best in Class” vehicle.
While you're there, check out over 15 local vendors and grab a bite to eat as they’ll be serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. There’ll also be music playing throughout the day, T-shirts for sale, and a 50/50 draw for a chance to win big!
