St. Andrews Rectory & Heritage Centre
Costumed interpreters from the Manitoba Living History Society (MLHS) will transform the Rectory into an 1800s settlement, offering activities like grain grinding, Red River folk tunes, and dancing with homesteaders!
Throughout the day, there will be a variety of exciting yard games for all ages, including axe throwing, giant Jenga, tug-of-war, and much more! Plus, there will be fun and festive children’s crafts to keep everyone entertained and engaged all day long!
Don't miss the Makers’ Market at the Heritage Centre, featuring over 20 artisans for your shopping delight!

Canada Day at the Waterfront
City of Selkirk
The City of Selkirk has planned another Canada Day jam packed with cultural programming, live entertainment, a bustling market, food vendors, and the most spectacular fireworks display in the Interlake!
From 4-10 PM, enjoy live entertainment while you explore the third annual Makers Market hosted by Bud & Bloom. Parents will find plenty to keep their little ones entertained with outdoor games, Kurrent Motion’s Hula Hoop Jam, and a glitter tattoo station.
The night will conclude with a breathtaking firework display at 11 PM. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or chairs, bug spray, and enjoy the show!

This Canada Day, head to Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site for a fun-filled day of FREE admission and festivities for the whole family!
Participate in various family-friendly activities and games set throughout the fort, explore the historic site and learn about Canada’s rich heritage, and cap off the day with a special cake-cutting ceremony and a heartfelt rendition of O Canada at the Big House.

As you explore the cemetery, learn about the history of notable local figures who are buried there, including their fascinating contributions to the community. Additionally, gain insight into the ongoing restoration efforts by the St. Andrews on the Red Fundraising Committee, dedicated to preserving the church's rich heritage for future generations.

Matlock Canada Day Celebrations
