Beaded Red Dress Earrings

Join Red River Métis artist Lydia Sturby as she leads a workshop on creating Red Dress earrings.

Métis artist Jaime Black,’s, known for her REDress Project installation. A red dress has come to symbolize the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit People. It honors and brings awareness to the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people who have been disproportionately affected by violence.
