St. Andrews - Selkirk - St. Clements
There’s plenty of outdoor and indoors skating rinks to enjoy in St. Andrews, St. Clements, and Selkirk. Whether you’re teaching your kids to skate or hanging out with your friends, there’s no shortage of free and accessible spots in Manitoba’s Interlake.
Tip: Always check the weather conditions before you go and make sure the skating rink is open.

Indoor Skating Rinks
Selkirk Recreation Complex
The Selkirk Recreation Complex offers public skating and stick & puck at scheduled, paid time slots, unless otherwise noted on the City of Selkirk’s website here. No pre-registration needed. The rink is open to all ages and skill levels.
Helmets are strongly recommended, and children under 12 must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

St. Andrews Community Club
The St. Andrews Community Club offers public skating and stick & puck times for skaters of all ages. Helmets are required for everyone on the ice. If you don’t have one, there’s a limited number available to borrow from the Skate Shop.
Take a break and warm up with a treat from their canteen (open during select hours).
Please note that public skate times run almost every Saturday throughout the season. Schedules may change due to tournaments or private events, but any updates will be shared on Facebook.

Stick & Puck: Wednesdays & Fridays: 3:45 – 4:45 p.m.
Public Skate: Saturday Evenings (Times vary).
East Selkirk Recreation Association
The East Selkirk Recreation Association welcomes everyone to enjoy free public skating and puck & stick ice times. Helmets are strongly recommended during public skating and are mandatory for all puck & stick sessions. Skaters must bring their own equipment as there is no equipment to rent or borrow onsite.

Stick & Puck: Tuesdays & Fridays 3:45 – 4:45 p.m.
Public Skate: Sundays 12:45 - 1:45 p.m.
Outdoor Skating Rinks
City of Selkirk Outdoor Rink
The City of Selkirk’s Outdoor Rink is a community favourite in the winter. The rink is usually available from mid-December through February, weather permitting.
The outdoor rink is open everyday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with rink lights on from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for evening skating. City staff are onsite periodically throughout the day to maintain the ice and host occasional programming.
The Kin Centre may be open for skaters to lace up indoors and access public washrooms if city staff are there, otherwise the Kin Centre is closed.

Clandeboye Community Rink
The Clandeboye Community Rink is maintained by the Clandeboye and District Recreational Association (CDRA), a group of dedicated volunteers. It offers free, public skating, featuring heated change rooms, a small canteen, and lights for evening use.
Generally open weekends and evenings during the week, with specific hours and ice conditions updated regularly on the CDRA Facebook page.
The CDRA also hosts a "Learn to Skate" program for children and provides a space for hockey and leisure skating.

LockportLIVE Skating Rink
The Lockport Ice Fishing Village is designed to be accessible for all levels of anglers, allowing vehicles to drive directly onto the ice, with no reservations or fees required for fishing. The site includes and outdoor skating rink for the community to enjoy. They also have Crokicurl and Slingshot Alley to enjoy with friends and family.
Open from early January to early March (weather permitting).

St. Andrews Community Club Outdoor Rink
The St. Andrews Community Centre Outdoor Rink is open to everyone of all ages for no cost. Helmets are required on the ice.
There are no heated dressing rooms, so dress warm. Schedule updates and closures are shared on the STACC Facebook page here.
