Ghost Tours
Experience a different side of Lower Fort Garry with their spine-chilling Ghost Tours! Led by a historical guide, this 90-minute walking tour will take you through the eerie past of the fort, sharing unsettling stories of murder, drinking, and suicide, as recounted by past workers and residents.
Tours happen every Friday and Saturday in October. The tour is not recommended for children under 10.
Please note, this tour is run by Friends of Lower Fort Garry, a non-profit organization created to support the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site.

This is an outdoor event! Dress accordingly.
There will be 90 minutes of walking and standing. Wear comfortable shoes!
Flashlights are permitted to carry along the tour, but they ask that you do not use them unless an emergency arises.
There may be spirits and spooks around the site. You will not be touched, but you may be startled!

There will be 90 minutes of walking and standing - there will be stairs and minor hills on a gravel path.
If you have mobility issues, please message them first so they can recommend a stair free/limited tour.

Tours run rain, snow, or moonlight unless severe weather.
Cancellations will occur via email and on their social media pages (@FriendsLFG).
There will be no refunds - however, you can give your ticket to another person - please email them at least 48 hours in advance.
