Red River Paddle Challenge

The Red River Paddle Challenge is a thrilling 44-kilometer paddling marathon on the scenic Red River, starting in Winnipeg and finishing in Lockport, Manitoba. Open to all types of paddle crafts—kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, and more—this event invites participants of all skill levels to join.

Categories include men’s and women’s singles, tandems (men’s, women’s, and mixed), and open class teams with three or more paddlers in one craft. With prizes awarded at the finish line, it’s a fun and competitive way to experience the beauty of the red river.
