1. Tune in to live music by the river with Selkirk Waterfront Concerts(June 6, July 18, August 8)! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and soak in the summer sounds with the Red River in the background.
2. Enjoy a “BRAW” time at the Manitoba Highland Gathering (June 20-21) and experience traditional Scottish games, highland dancers, and live historical reenactments.
3.Enjoy lunch or traditional high tea at the Heritage Tea Room, also known as the Captain Kennedy Tea House. Reservations are highly recommended experience.
4. Visit the oldest stone church in continuous use in Western Canada. The St. Andrews on the Red Anglican Church(June 13) is hosting their annual Baking, Books, and Blooms Fundraiser. Swing by to snag great deals and support a good cause!

36. Snap a picture with Chuck the Channel Cat in Selkirk. This 11-metre statue proclaims Selkirk as the Catfish Capital of North America and is a tribute to local legend Chuck Norquay.
37. View stunning works of art of some of Manitoba’s talented artists at the Gwen Fox Art Gallery on Main Street in Selkirk. The gallery is open from February to December.

39. Create your own adventure with the WAVE Interlake Artists’ Studio Tour (June 13 & 14). Artists in the Eastern Interlake open their private studio doors to experience a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process.
40. Just an hour from Winnipeg, the Brokenhead Wetland Interpretive Trail is a haven for nature enthusiasts. The trail is home to 23 provincially rare plant species found nowhere else in the province.
